Amanda is a Solicitor specialising in family law and she joined Risdon Hosegood in January 2019, having worked exclusively in family law for over 20 years, qualifying in 1992.
Her work covers a range of family matters including divorce, financial matters upon divorce and separation, children issues and domestic violence including emergency applications.
Amanda is a member of the Law Society Children Panel and Resolution. She is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in cohabitation and Domestic abuse. She has also trained as a collaborative lawyer and believes that a collaborative approach assists in resolving issues for separating couples as amicably as possible.
Amanda acts not only for the parents in Children Act proceedings but also for extended family members.
When not working Amanda is a passion conservationist working in particular for our endangered birds of prey. She is a Trustee for the International Centre for Birds of Prey.
